Janet Jensen is the founder and Director of a non-profit, The Jensen Project, that has come alongside Irving Family Advocacy Center to enrich the lives of those who live and work in Irving. A lifelong advocate against sexual violence and exploitation, and a self-proclaimed human investor, Janet is dedicated to nurturing partnerships that cultivate impactful partnerships to create cultural and systematic change, improving outcomes for all victims.

With a commitment to be the spearhead for change in the community, the Irving Police Department vowed to enhance the value of their community through holistic help and healing for victims of crime.
Through this, they are setting an example to their surrounding communities of ways to help others cope and move forward with their lives after experiencing violent crimes. By working hand in hand with multiple agencies, they can take the stress of jumping through legal loopholes off of victims so that they can focus completely on healing.
